South-Central Regional Professional Development Center
Funding for the South Central RPDC is provided by the Missouri University of Science and Technology and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
As part of the Missouri state-wide system of support for schools, the mission of the South Central RPDC is to "build the capacity of educators through high-quality professional learning to maximize student success."
IT IS OUR VISION TO ADVANCE LEADERSHIP, COMMUNICATION, AND COLLABORATIVE PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS AMONG EDUCATORS AND ORGANIZATIONS IN OUR REGION BY:
- Modeling effective teamwork, providing an integrated system of support for our schools.
- Providing high-quality professional development which positively impacts student achievement by increasing instructional effectiveness and student engagement.
- Developing the leadership capacity of educators, emphasizing relationships, rigor, and relevance.
WHERE WE ARE:
The South-Central Regional Professional Development Center is officially a part of Missouri University of Science and Technology, under the Office of Undergraduate Studies. It is located at 800 University Drive (or RPDCmap.pdf )
WHO WE SERVE:
This Center services the south-central region of Missouri, covering thirteen counties and 63 school districts.
