STARR Teachers can serve as a resource by

  • Providing high quality professional development presentations for in-service educators; large and small groups and grade level meetings
  • Coaching or providing model lessons in the classroom
  • Serving as ongoing consultants
  • Providing support for first year teachers

STARR Teachers can assist schools with a variety of instructional workshops that include: Engaging Strategies, Cooperative Learning, Elementary Reading Comprehension Strategies, and Marzano's Instructional Strategies.

STARR Teachers know that best teaching depends upon the relationships built among everyone involved in the learning community. There are several topics that help build these bonds: Classroom Management, Classroom Team Building, and staff Team Building.

COST

District fees: $100 for one STARR teacher presenting; $150 for the team.

You provide the site, necessary A.V. equipment, and copies of materials if necessary.
